Short Biography of Some Associates/Consultants

 

  WILSON C. CLEMENTE, Geologist/ Geothermal Exploration, Development and Steamfield Operations Management Specialist
WILSON C. CLEMENTE – Wilson is a 1974 B.S. Geology degree holder from the University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City. In 1990, he was awarded a Diploma on Geothermal Technology while graduating at top of the class at Geothermal Institute, University of Auckland, New Zealand. He passed the Basic Management Program at the Asian Institute of Management in 1992. He has over 33 years of experience in geothermal exploration, assessment, development and operations of geothermal resources. His main discipline and expertise is in geothermal geosciences, as manager of multidisciplinary teams and manager of geothermal field operations. He started his career in the geothermal industry in 1979 as Wellsite Geologist in the Exploration and Development Department of Unocal. He held various positions with increasing responsibility in the department including Senior Geologist, Mak-Ban Area Geologist and Exploration Manager. He was appointed Tiwi Resource Process Manager in 1995 and then Tiwi Operations Manager in 2001. The following year he was promoted to VP, Mak-Ban Asset. He was appointed Manager, Tiwi Asset in 2006 after Chevron acquired Unocal. He retired from Chevron Geothermal Phils. Inc. on June 2012 and thereafter became engaged in independent consultancy work. Recently, he completed consultancy work for the Department of Tourism evaluating areas with low temperature geothermal resources for development as tourist spots and resorts. He is concurrently an associate-consultant with FEDS Energy.
