Short Biography of Some Associates/Consultants

 

  ARISTEO J. BALTASAR, Geochemist
ARISTEO J. BALTASAR – Resty is a B.S. Chemical Engineering degree holder from the De la Salle University in Manila. He is a professional registered chemical engineer with a post-graduate certificate in Chemistry of Thermal Fluids from the United Nations University in Reykjavik, Iceland and certificate in training in nuclear tracing from the Institute of Nuclear Sciences in Lower Hutt, New Zealand. He has authored and co-authored a number of papers in refereed publications. He started his professional career as an exploration geochemist in 1978 with PNOC-EDC working on the Leyte geothermal project. Later he also became involved in all the other geothermal exploration and development projects, i.e. southern Leyte, Biliran, Bacon-Manito, Bulusan, northern and southern Negros, Mindanao (Apo), Labo, Pinatubo, Mabini, Natib, Cagua, Naujan, and Palawan. He also headed the Geoscientific Equipment Maintenance & Materials Control Section at PNOC-EDC until the end of his employment tenure in 2005. From 2006 onward, he became a project consultant of FEDCO for its projects with different clients in the Philippines and Papua New Guinea. He is presently an associate-consultant with FEDS Energy.
